For instance, U.S. firm Inspirato developed a subscription-based business model targeting the luxury travel market. As of March 2022, it offered Inspirato Pass members the opportunity to book a series of exclusive travel stays and experiences for a monthly fee of U.S. dollars. Meanwhile, lodging companies Selina and citizenM aunched offers that allow subscribers to flexibly reserve travel accommodation for a monthly fixed rate.
