Between the fourth quarter of 2020 and the first quarter of 2021, viewership of live TV declined in countries worldwide, including Germany, Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The decline in viewership was especially pronounced in the United States, where viewing time dropped nearly ** percent. Australia was close behind, while both Germany and the UK showed a less than **** percent decrease in live TV time spent.
