In all five Nordic countries, employment rates grow with the level of education; the higher the educational level, the higher the employment rate. Moreover, the gap between those with a non-upper secondary education and those with a higher education is the smallest in Iceland, with ** and ** percent, respectively. The gap is the highest in Finland, with an employment rate of only ** percent among people with no upper secondary education, compared to ** percent for people with a tertiary education.
