Of the five Nordic countries, Iceland had the highest employment rate among the younger and older age groups. Furthermore, all countries have an employment rate of above ** percent among the population aged 25 to 54 years. However, the rates among youth (15 to 24 years) vary greatly, from ** percent in Sweden to over ** percent in Iceland. Finland has the lowest employment rate among people between 55 and 64 years of age, coming in just below ** percent.
