The survey included a total of 27,607 respondents, of which:
- 11,148 Tunisians non migrants;
- 6,475 returnees;
- 7,003 migrants;
- 2,981 foreigners residing in Tunisia (immigrants).

According to a survey conducted between 2020 and 2021, nearly ** percent of Tunisians intending to leave their country would emigrate to France. Other leading potential destinations were Saudi Arabia, Italy, Germany, and North America.
