The survey included a total of 27,607 respondents, of which:
- 11,148 Tunisians non migrants;
- 6,475 returnees;
- 7,003 migrants;
- 2,981 foreigners residing in Tunisia (immigrants).

Steps taken by people who intend to emigrate from Tunisia 2021
According to a survey conducted between 2020 and 2021, among the Tunisians who were planning to emigrate, nearly ** percent had started the visa processes. In addition, around ** percent of the respondents had contacted relatives or friends who live abroad, while roughly ** percent of them had searched the internet to plan their emigration.
