In 2020, survey respondents in Cambodia showed the highest level of satisfaction among Southeast Asian countries in regard to the local educational system, at ** percent. The Philippines and Indonesia both recorded a significant decrease in satisfaction, both coming in at below ** percent in 2020. The overall decrease in satisfaction across all survey Southeast Asian countries can be attributed to partial and complete school closures in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
