According to a survey carried out between May and June 2020, among the distance education measures implemented by governments in Latin America and the Caribbean as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, ** percent of the ** countries analized in the region had chosen the internet as one of their education delivery systems. Among the countries using online learning platforms, ** percent worked with open and/or commercial platforms, while ** percent worked with commercial-free platforms.
