Data for 2012 was obtained between 2011 and 2012.

It was estimated that, in 2023, around ***** people aged 15 and older in Spain had been diagnosed with chronic allergies, the equivalent to ** percent of the population analyzed. Meanwhile, approximately ***** individuals in the country had received an asthma diagnosis. These figures portray an increase in comparison to 2020 data. However, it is not yet clear to what extent the estimates were affected by the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous figures had shown an increasing trend on both asthma and chronic allergies.
