Between 2019 and 2020, there was a significant trend regarding the changes in the operating profit of Israeli businesses. The survey results showed that the smaller the business, the higher the percentage that reported a decline in operating profit. In addition, **** percent of companies with *** employees or more indicated to see an increase in operating profit between the surveyed period, whereas **** percent of the smaller companies mentioned a positive outcome in profit. Smaller businesses struggled more to cope financially with the pandemic-related restrictions compared to larger companies.
