In 2023, percent of Indonesia's domestic market obligation (DMO) target on coal was fulfilled. The Indonesian Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry (ESDM) has targeted to sell million metric tons of coal in the domestic market for this year. Since the latest Ministerial Decree at the end of 2019, from 2020 on, ** percent of Indonesia's coal production has to be sold in the domestic market.
