Access to health services in Mexico is restricted by various socio-economic aspects. However, these limitations are not homogeneous throughout the national territory. According to a survey carried out in the country between July and August 2020, just over a quarter of respondents residing in the capital in whose household there was at least one person with symptoms of an illness that did not attend a medical consultation, said they had not done so because appointments were given to late or not given at all. In comparison, in the µþ²¹Âáí´Ç region, this figure amounted to ** percent.
