A higher ratio indicates more female consumption.

Based on a survey conducted between **** and ****, wine consumption was more prevalent among female adults in Zimbabwe, as the country obtained a ratio of . Kenya and South Africa followed, scoring *** and ***, respectively, which indicates that females took more wine than males. Moreover, countries namely Botswana, Ethiopia and Nigeria, maintained a gender parity in wine consumption. On the other hand, male adults were more likely to consume wine in Morocco, compared to females.
