At a time when the consequences of the climate crisis are of concern to most Canadians, and when climate change is seen by them as a serious threat, people in Canada appear to be relatively unoptimistic about the environmental conditions facing future generations. This pessimism is particularly pronounced among young people: when asked about this issue, **** of people aged 18-24, and about of those aged 25-34, thought that the state of the environment facing future generations would be worse than it was in 2020.
