The aim of the European ICT surveys is the timely provision of statistics on individuals and households on the use of Information and Communication Technologies at European level. Data coverage corresponds to Dataset [ISOC_BDE15CUA] code [I_IUIF] of the (Information and Communication Technologies) survey from the Eurostat database.

The European questionnaire on Information and Communication Technologies Data reveals that there exists a disparity between the internet usage of people according to gender. This disparity although present in most countries, differs widely in its severity. By 2023, 74 percent of male as well as 71 percent of female internet users in Spain used the internet to inform themselves about goods and services.Â
