Mudra loans were extended in three categories based on size of loans:
Shishu: up to 50,000 Indian rupees
Kishor: above 50,000 Indian rupees and up to 500,000 Indian rupees
Tarun: above 500,000 Indian rupees and up to 1,000,000 Indian rupees.
