Nearly 67 percent of the population in Czechia had upper secondary education as their highest education level in 2024, the highest of OECD member countries. Neighboring Slovakia had the second-highest share at nearly two-thirds of the population between 25 and 64 years. Meanwhile, the share was lowest in Costa Rica, where only 20.5 percent of the population had achieved an upper secondary education.
