The most pressing issue was uncertainty in relation to traveling, folk school, and similar plans for the gap year, expressed by 307 respondents. Also, a fear of either getting or losing jobs was highlighted by 156 of the students. In Denmark, taking a gap year of one or two years is the most common thing for senior students in upper secondary school after graduating.
