During the containment implemented by the government, the population was asked to limit its exits to the strict minimum in order to slow down the spread of the virus (COVID-19). As a result, people often changed their consumption habits: ** percent of the French population, for example, increased their consumption of pasta during this period. Yet, it appears that among them, more than half of French people over 45 years of age consumed more pasta to avoid having to go to the supermarkets.
