The main reason why voters are inclined to vote blank or null in the Peruvian elections on **** is the belief that the candidates are corrupt. In **, over ** percent of survey participants said they would not cast a valid vote for either of the candidates because of their involvement in corruption. The second most mentioned reason, according to almost ** percent of respondents, was the lack of trust in the candidates to deliver on their campaign promises.
