Russia's natural gas-producing giant Gazprom is the largest gas pipeline developer in the world. As of 2024, the company was expecting to add over 21,000 kilometers to its existing pipeline network in the coming years. This was followed by India's GAIL Limited, which had nearly 8,000 kilometers worth of pipelines under construction.
