The source asked French seniors aged 70 and over on their main uses of the Internet in 2018. That year, around 77 percent of people questioned answered that they had used the Internet to search for information and 68 percent of them used it to send an email.
When seniors aged 60 and over were asked about their Internet access frequency, about four percent of seniors said they used it several times a week.
