According to the 2018 results presented as part of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), Mexico had the largest share of students in schools with teachers having the necessary technical and pedagogical skills to integrate digital devices in instruction, among Latin American and Caribbean countries members and partners of the OECD. In contrast, the North American country ranked in the region in terms of sufficient connected devices, and in share of students in schools with enough software available, as reported by the schools' principals.
