The number of reported robberies in Sweden fell significantly in 2021 and 2022 compared to the previous years. In 2022, there were reported 6,500 robberies in the country, which was a decrease of 26 percent compared to 2020. Through most of the last 10 years, there were between 8,000 and 9,000 robberies reported each year in Sweden.
