What is retail technology?

The utilization of the Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) are major benchmarks retailers use to increase the standards of customer experience.

Retail technology in Brazil

The retail technology sector has experienced a boom in Brazil. In 2019, RetailTech startups raised over half a million U.S. dollars from venture capital investors, value that has increased considerably during the last years. Approximately out of ten of these startups focused on business-to-business (B2B) solutions, and overall, they employed nearly ** thousand people in the country, as of August 2020.
