1, 677 respondents from all ten ASEAN member states participated in the 2022 survey, of which 23.9 percent of respondents were from the Philippines. The survey was conducted both online and offline.

According to a 2022 survey, over half of the respondents in the Philippines stated that they had little confidence in China's capacity to "do the right thing" of maintaining global peace, security, prosperity, and governance. In contrast, around *** percent of the respondents stated some confidence on China.
