In 2024, the most physically active segment of the population in Mexico was made up of men aged 18 to 24 years old. In this cohort, ** percent of survey participants indicated that they exercised in their free time. By contrast, the most active age group amongst women were those aged 65 and above. Specifically, **** percent of Mexican women in this age range stated doing sports or physical exercises in their leisure time.
