Insufficiency of physical exercise in Latin America and the Caribbean 2000-2030
According to a World Health Organization (WHO) study published in June 2024, the prevalence of insufficient physical activity in Latin America and the Caribbean was higher among women than men. In 2022, an estimate of ** percent of women in the region did not meet the recommended weekly amount of physical exercise for adults. This percentage was at around ** percent among men.
