The green sovereign bond (Green OAT ****% 25 June 2039), launched by Agence France Trésor on 24 January 2017 in continuity with the Paris Climate Agreement, is a bond for which the use of the funds is dedicated to a project (or set of projects) with a positive environmental impact. The Green OAT has a very diversified investor base in terms of asset type, and it appears that investments are primarily made by asset managers and bank treasuries, each of which represent ** percent of Green OAT investors in 2018.
