Prevalence of breast cancer screening among women over 50 in Belgium 1997-2018
In 2018, two out of three Belgian women, aged 50 to 69 years old, have been screened for breast cancer. Since 1997, the share of women of this age who have had a mammography screening increased in the country. In 2018, however, the prevalence of women who underwent a mammogram to detect breast cancer decreased in Belgium.
