Of the 5,000 surveyed respondents, approximately 1,300 were people who are currently not online via phone and face-to-face discussions and approximately 3,700 were surveyed via an online survey.
Respondents were from the following countries: France, Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States, and India.

Global offline population who want internet in future 2020, by country
According to a survey conducted from December 2019 to February 2020, 66 percent of responding offline adults in India would like to have internet access in the future. Additionally, 44 percent of responding Indian offline adults reported that they would also like to learn how to use the internet in the future.
