Of the 5,000 surveyed respondents, approximately 1,300 were people who are currently not online via phone and face-to-face discussions and approximately 3,700 were surveyed via an online survey.
Respondents were from the following countries: France, Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States, and India.

According to a survey conducted from December 2019 to February 2020, 45 percent of offline adults worldwide aged 53 to 71 years would like to be able to use the internet in order to apply for public benefits. In comparison, only 22 percent of offline adults aged 18 to 21 years wanted the same thing.
