A June 2020 survey found that only 7 percent of adults in the United States had seen, read, or heard a lot about a government program that provides low-income Americans with discounts for their monthly telephone services, broadband internet access, or bundled service plans from select providers. In comparison, 38 percent of U.S. adults had not seen, read, or heard anything at all about such discounts.
