A 2021 survey among internet users in the United Kingdom (UK) found that 91 percent of male respondents first went online over five years ago. Female respondents who first used the internet more than 10 years ago amounted to 70 percent of the respondents. The share of those who started using the internet in the past year was one percent in both groups.
