Compared to people in other countries, Thai internet users rank among the most active users who spend the most time online, particularly on mobile devices. Since mobile subscription is becoming more affordable and accessible, more than half of the internet users in the country stated that they frequently use mobile internet. With increasing efforts for better internet technology in the country, it is likely that more online services will continue to expand such as e-wallet services along with higher potential growth in the e-commerce sector.
