The current coronavirus crisis has made French consumers rethink their purchase habits, especially when it comes to food. The lockdown which was implemented in the country was for many the opportunity to refocus on the type of food that they buy. A broader trend on social media reflected this shift of mentality, with a large amount of content related to food and cooking posted every day. This survey shows that 81 percent of French consumers intend to purchase more environmentally friendly food products after the lockdown.
