According to a survey conducted in January 2021, employees in Moscow and Saint Petersburg expressed more comfort with the conditions of remote work than employee in small cities, towns, or villages. Around 40 percent of employees who worked fully remotely or in a hybrid mode in towns with up to 100 thousand inhabitants said they were rather uncomfortable with telecommuting. Among disadvantages in remote work, around a half of respondents cited a lack of personal communication with colleagues.
