With the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Russia, most companies faced the need of switching all or some of their workers to the remote working mode. According to a survey from 2021, most executives and hiring managers in large companies in the country held the opinion that the productivity of employees is independent of the work location. However, one fifth of respondents reported a decline in performance due to the transfer to remote work.
