In May 2020, a survey carried out in the UK found that the majority of British respondents disapproved of the government's handling of access to personal protective equipment (PPE) for NHS workers during the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. According to the results, 22 percent of respondents somewhat disapproved of the government's handling, while a further 37 percent strongly disapproved.
