The majority of respondents in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) stated that the tax authorities' most significant problem was the extended deadlines when solving inquiries. Nevertheless, more than one-third of respondents answered that they were discontented with the extended duration of tax inspections and with the lack of accountability and professionalism of tax inspectors.
