Eight jurisdictions in the Caribbean accounted for nearly **** of all tax revenue lost to tax evasion worldwide. Taken together, all the countries and territories included in this chart accounted for **** percent of the total tax revenue loss due to offshore wealth shifting, according to 2023 estimates. Due to a legal and financial system that enables tax avoidance and evasion, the Cayman Islands had the largest share of tax revenue loss inflicted on other countries in the world, at **** percent.
