As of March 2020, Singaporeans reported spending more on online grocery shopping and food delivery services, while overseas travel and nightlife saw more than ** percent decreases in spending among Singaporean consumers. This change in spending habits were brought about by the restrictions on social gatherings to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus in Singapore.
