A quarter of magazine publishers in Sweden need to reduce their staff due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in 2020. This is the result of survey from March 2020 among editors in chief of Sveriges Tidskrifter's (Swedish Magazine Publishers Association) member companies about the impact of the coronavirus on the magazine industry in the country. Nearly half of the respondents also said that the reading of digital magazines has changed since the beginning of the crisis. According to them, more people read magazines online.
