The Community of Madrid is the epicenter of the COVID-19 crisis in Spain, with its increasing cases rapidly outnumbering those of the rest of the country. This has led to an overwhelming number of admissions due to coronavirus disease in Madrid hospitals, both in the capital and satellite cities. Among them, however, the La Paz/Carlos III /Canto Blanco hospital was the most affected, with 95 admitted under observation as of March 12, 2020.
