As of March 11, 2020, a majority of U.S. adults surveyed - ** percent - favored the federal government requiring quarantines for anyone entering the country in order to control the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak. However, respondents were less favorable when it came to domestic measures, with only ** percent supporting the closure of schools and ** percent supporting the cancellation of sporting events.
