According to a survey conducted in March 2020, 46 percent of respondents in Germany expected their employer to encourage workers with Coronavirus symptoms to stay at home in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Although this was the most popular measure, their was also strong support for coming up with contingency plans (45 percent) and banning business travel (42 percent).
