According to the Economic Times survey across Indian metro cities in 2019, about 78 percent of respondents cited high levels of pollution as the main reason to move out of their current city.
Since 2014, there are eight metros in India - Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Pune.
