In a survey conducted in December 2019 in Japan, more than ** percent of respondents aged between ** to ** and 30 to 39 years old agreed that the Tokyo 2020 Olympics would have a positive impact on the country. A majority of the respondents among all age groups agreed to the statement.
The Summer Olympics were scheduled to take place between 24 July and 9 August in 2020, being held for the second time in the Japanese capital.
