According to several surveys carried out during March and April 2020, the share of British adults who believed that the government should encourage companies to allow their employees to work from home increased from 45 percent to 82 percent. While as of April 17, 40 percent of Brits believed the government should provide free masks to all people.
As of April 19, 2020, the United Kingdom had 120,067 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country, with 15,464 reported deaths from the virus.
