The gaming portal Mobage was used by more than *** percent of teenagers in Japan in fiscal year 2022. Mobage was established by DeNA Co., Ltd. in 2006 and combines social networking and portal site functions for video game users. While the penetration rates across age groups were relatively low compared to other social media platforms, younger age cohorts were more likely to use the service than older generations.
